Send Text Messages by Email
You can send Text Messages (SMS) without leaving your computer, finding your phone, or just by using your smartphone's Data connection (Email-to-Text). You only need to know the recipient's phone number and their wireless carrier. Replies should return to you by email. Sending an email to the following addresses sends a Free* Text Message (SMS) or Picture Message (MMS) to a wireless device.  Not all of these email addresses work across all carriers so check ahead if you can.

    If your carrier is not listed or your service is provided by an Alternative Network, prepaid service, or wireless reseller, you need to determine the underlying carrier, and use that carriers' email-to-text access.
